The President of the Maldives Heritage Society met with the President of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy, Mr. Hassan Shakir Mohamed, today.

During this meeting, information was shared regarding the Society’s objectives, its various ongoing activities, and several planned future endeavors. Discussions were also held regarding the assistance the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy could provide toward the Society’s activities, as well as potential collaborative initiatives between the two parties.

In his remarks, the President of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy highlighted the importance of the work being carried out by the Society and noted several potential areas for joint collaboration. He further stated that since some of the Society’s efforts overlap with the Academy’s own work, further exploration could be done to identify avenues for cooperation that would be mutually beneficial to both parties moving forward.

The Society’s General Secretary, Ahmed Afrah, also participated in this meeting.
