A certificate awarding ceremony was held today for participants who successfully completed the Tour Guide Training Course conducted under the Pareefenganda Platform Project.
The training was organized by the Maldives Heritage Society with the aim of developing tour guides capable of providing accurate information on protected natural heritage sites such as Pareefenganda, as well as other cultural and heritage attractions. A total of 11 participants successfully completed the course and were awarded certificates.
Training sessions were facilitated by renowned human resource development specialist Ahmed Nasir, whose expertise greatly contributed to the success of the program.
The training was implemented by the Maldives Heritage Society with financial support from the Endheri Project under the Ministry of Tourism and Environment. The program was conducted in collaboration with the L. Gan Womens Development Committee and GAGE Training Institute.
The Society hopes that the trained guides will play an important role in enhancing visitor experiences, promoting heritage awareness, and supporting sustainable tourism initiatives within the community.
