Site Name: Kuruhinna Tharaagandu
Location: Latitude: 4.956617N  Longitude: 73.462934E

Kuruhinna Tharaagandu is an archaeological site in the Kaashidhoo Island of Maldives. It is a Buddhist monastery built in pre-Islamic times (7th-8th century CE).

Excavation took place from 1996 to 1998 and 64 coral stone structures were revealed, most of them with only the lower part preserved.

The site is fenced but almost entirely overgrown with weeds and only a small portion is now readable as archeological site. Access is free through a small, short path. No indication available on site.
